Red Sox trade RHP Pineiro to the Cardinals for a player to be named later.

Good find. HERE COME THE CARDINALS!

Or not.

If Steve Kline ends up a Cub, can we still hate his guts?

If Kline becomes a Cub, no matter what he does, he is IMMEDIATELY in the top 5 of the B126. Why don’t they try to get Matt Morris and Robert Fick while they’re at it?

I like Steve Kline

UPDATE:

The Yanks and Dodgers just swapped Scott Proctor and Wilson Betimit.

RUMOR:

Cubs linked to interest in Twins’ Carlos Silva.

Source: http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playerpages/player_main.aspx?sport=MLB&id=3419

Good ones, IAN.

Hmm. As a part-time Twins fan, I’ve always sort of liked Silva, even though he’s really only had one good year. He’d probably be a better second-half option than Marquis, honestly. In his career, his ERA is .40 lower in the 2nd half. Hmm. HMMMMMMM.

I would like Silva, but we wont do that, we will get Conine, and thats it. Well him and somebody named Wood later in the week.

RUMOR:

The Cubs are still being linked to Eric Gagne.

Why would we ever need Conine? I mean, WTF is going on in Hendry’s head?

I’m going to pretend I didn’t read anything on this site that involved the words “Rocco” and “Baldelli”

Cause that sucks.

Two Words (one of them probably misspelled b/c i didn’t want to look it up b/c i’m lazy)
Damaso Marte

Marte would be good, and we could probably give them some bum for them, considering they are our minor league affiliate.

RUMOR:

Braves offer Jo-Jo Reyes for Bronson Arroyo.

RUMOR:

The Mets could offer prospect Carlos Gomez and a pitching talent for the Nationals’ Chad Cordero. The Nats would likely ask for Lastings Milledge in return.

Rotoworld now reporting Brewers and Red Sox are finalists for Gagne.

Your link says it’s the Sox.

I don’t see the Mets trading Milledge now, not with Beltran hurt.

RUMOR:

The Mets have reportedly offered Phillup Humber for Chad Cordero. I have Humber on my team for MLB 2K7. He’s pretty good.

Gagne allegedly going to the Red Sox.

At least he’s not going to the Brewers.

Gagne to the Red Sox if no trade clause is waived?

TRADE:

The Padres get Rob Mackowiak from the White Sox for a minor leaguer.

TRADE:

The Padres have acquired Morgan Ensberg from the Astros. No report on the return to Houston as of yet. Buster Olney is the source.

We got Gagne– phew!! We really needed some bullpen help.

part time twins fan kerm?

Yeah, they’re my AL team. I like them, and the Sox hate them. It’s a match made in heaven.

Looks like Steve Kline is still a Giant. I can douse my torch and put down my pitchfork. I sure do hate me some Steve Kline.

The Braves got Royce Ring, too.

Man, Atlanta had a pretty busy couple of days. At only 2.5 out of the WC and 4.5 out of the NL East, you can’t really fault them for being aggressive as hell.
