Amazing work, BK. I never played baseball as a kid, but Kerry's rookie year was the year I graduated from college and got my first job in the "real world". For that reason, I've always felt an imagined connection with Woody. I know that's bullshit, but still. The Cubs won't be quite the same for me without him.

Unfortunately, the Astros had as much tolerance for these guys dressing
as Castro as MLB did for Guillen speaking about him in a flattering
manner. According to fan John Egbert’s Facebook page–he’s one of the faux-bearded fellows in the picture — security removed them from Minute Maid Park in the fifth inning after they were shown on television.

How can you eject somebody for dressing as Castro?? Heckling?? What?? The day you stop hecklers is the baseball is officially over.

Also,
According to Facebook Egbert is a Purdue grad, so this move makes him
the third-greatest Boilermaker ever behind Neil Armstrong and Drew Brees
and slightly ahead of neck-bearded Kyle Orton. And that’s about it for
the list of great Boilermakers.

If there was rack exposure, I would hope Kermit would have mentioned it in the review. Actually, it should probably have been the main focus of the review.

You know what I love about these questions is that in the past 2 years I have heard little from the Cubs fans in regards to relief pitching, only offense. Maybe I can get on the muskbox with:

It seems the cubs relievers can not get out of an inning without giving up 1 or more runs. Could Kerry Wood be moved up to closer since his ERA is 8.50 which on average is less than 1 er per inning. Also, do you think we will see Kerry Wood come back as a Starter. This way he can start a game and then re-enter as a closer. When was the last time a Cubs Pitcher got a win and a save in the same game? Also, Kerry Wood can hit for power, could he play 3rd base? Then the Cubs can move La Hair to Closer and bring up Rizzo. Or maybe make Rizzo the closer. Also who does Kenny Powers play for now that he left the Rangers. I watched him on HBO and he seems to have good stuff. Could the Cubs trade Garza, Castro, and Dejesus for him?
