Everyone is talking about it this morning, so we might as well get on the bandwagon. The Lost series finale last night sucked. It was (SPOILERS!) two-and-a-half hours of people recognizing one another, then a plug got pulled, Locke bled, the plug got put back, and everything was okay. There were so many unanswered questions, and the writers’ “plan” for the series was possibly total bullshit. Boo. The Cubs have had their fair share of disappointing endings, as well. Since we don’t know how this particular season will end, let’s throw the 2008 season into the Fukudome.

2004 was much, much more disappointing than 2008.
@T to E to C – I considered ’04, but ’08 is more fresh, and 9 playoff losses in a row is something special.
I hate Lost much more. But only because no one talks about the Cubs on the shoutbox all the damn time.
I have never watched Lost so this was an easy – it’s hard to believe that anything could be more disappointing than the 2008 Cubs (other than 1969 Cubs, of course)
Or maybe the 1985 Cubs.
Or the 1985 Cubs.
That last one was supposed to be 1984. I don’t know what happened.
@Moon – Neither did they!
Leon Durham came to me in a dream last night and said to vote for the Cubs, early and often. Beside, like Moon, I too am on the never-seen-Lost bandwagon.
