Somehow, we survived yet another offseason. As cynical as I manage to get about the Cubs every year, there’s nothing quite like Opening Day. For this one day each year, I can’t even hate Ryan Dempster. Mostly because he’s not pitching. As I’m sure many of you will be, I’m skipping out of work early to watch that first delivery from Derek Lowe to Ryan Theriot. Happy Opening Day, everyone!
As is the tradition around these parts:

“As I’m sure many of you will be, I’m skipping out of work early to watch”
You should have just stayed at work…
so…Doom?
Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?
p.s.- Doom.
Skipped work to be home to watch the game. lost a sick day for nothing :(
I was actually home sick. The game didn’t help. And way to be spot-on with “The 2010 Nut-Punch Starts In” countdown.
SMAN
HE COULD HAVE STAYED AT WORK AND FOLLOWED OPENING DAY WITH ESPNU! SPORTS AT WORK BETTER THAN WORK AT WORK! NOW TO GO SNORT SOME COK……………………………………………………(Heart attack sounds)
