Friday Night Fukudome: Heilman vs. Miles

Ex-Cubs, Friday Night Fukudome

Every time I want to punch Jim Hendry in the fleshiest part of his neck, he has an offseason like this one, in which he has unloaded both terrible Aarons. There’s only one thing to do when you’re all out of Aarons. Put them in the Fukudome on their way out! At first blush, this might seem like an easy vote. Miles is clearly the more terrible player. Perhaps the most terrible player to survive an entire season on the roster in my memory. But at least Miles had the courtesy to injure himself for part of the year. Heilman was healthily terrible for the entire season.

That picture almost made me look up Aaron Miles. But then I decided to look at porn, only thing better than Friday Night Fukudome

I had an impending sense of doom every time it was announced that Heilman was entering a game. Miles was nice enough to rehab in Des Moines so I could heckle him loudly in our tiny park.

I would still punch Hendry in the neck for ever thinking acquiring the two Aarons was a good idea.

I am still waiting for Hendry to trade himself.

There actually is a video of that. Forgive me for the location as it’s the only place I could find it. I’m not sure if the video still works on this link since videos are fun-filtered from work but anyway: http://www.bleedcubbieblue.com/2008/12/16/695035/wonder-woman-caught-on-tap
