Cubs, Friday Night Fukudome

The offseason has officially begun. As we wait in fear of how Jim Hendry can make the 2010 version of the Cubs worse than the 2009 version, White Sox fans are likely doing the same. Kenny Williams has taken an early lead on head-scratching moves, officially trading for Mark Teahen today. So, let’s put our beloved Chicago GMs into the Fukudome.

Hendry because he’ll just overreact and trade Bradley for someone shittier than Milton and its very possible he can.I wish Kenny Williams was the Cubs GM sometimes

I’m unwavering in my opinion that Williams is a grade-A dickhole but damn at least he looks like he gives a shit about personal appearance. I thought the picture on the left was an 8-ball induced love child of a Jack Black/Gary Busey double team on a hobbit.

    Hendry,

I cringe every time he is involved in a transaction. Especially since he decided to got for left-handedness over actual baseball talent.

  4. MexicanThypoon Says:

@aaronb – That what Im saying, Williams is an asshole but at least he he looks like he knows what he doing

I’d like to think that after two lackluster acquisitions (Fukudome and Bradley), that Hendry learned his lesson and will dump money on the right player this time, except…. there are no good free agents to sign.

Kenny is one of the better GM’s in baseball if you ask me (I’m sure I’ll catch flak for saying that). He’s a natural-born dealer; look at how he worked the Peavy trade under the radar. I actually think the Sox have a legit shot at winning that division next season.

Sup, dudes. Hope you all enjoy seeing ME every 5th day!

  7. Moon Says:

Williams is off to a flying start, trading a runner-up for the Rookie of the Year AND another guy for Teahen.

Everybody is scratching their head on that one.

  8. Moon Says:

I still voted for Hendry, though.

Hey, isn’t Juan Pierre a free agent??
