Earlier this week, both Rich Harden and Aaron Heilman were claimed by other teams off waivers. Clearly, Harden is the better pitcher, and I think I can speak for most Cubs fans when I say I would love to have him back next year. However, trading Harden to a team desperate for pitching could reap a large reward for the Cubs. On the other hand, I think I can speak for most Cubs fans when I say just get Heilman the hell off the team. There is no way trading him will yield the Cubs anything valuable. With that said, let’s put them in the Fukudome.

this could be the first unanimous friday night fukudome
Does Aaron Heilman read this site? Why would anyone vote for Harden? For that matter, why was Harden put on waivers in the first place?
I have no idea why anyone would claim Heilman, but they can have for free.
You don’t try to trade Heilman because no one is going to give up anything for him. You let them claim him and keep him off waivers before they sober up and realize who Aaron Heilman is.
Unanimous my limp, innefective breaking pitches!
to the 4 people who voted for Harden, do you even know who Heilman is.
Losing Heilman would define addition by subtraction. The fucker can’t even beat Kerm at darts.
I figure the people who voted for Harden did so because they assume the Cubs would get a lot of value in return for him. Meaning they don’t know Jim Hendry very well.
What are you holding onto with Harden? A slightly less fragile Prior, that’s what. The wheels will come off his injury-prone career sooner than later. Get something for him while the getting is good.
jesus, finalize the b126 already and make it so they all link to a page.
Notre Dame sucks.
You never know with Brian Sabean, who has no concept of the value of young talent. I wouldn’t be surprised if Heilman landed a top prospect because Sabean is that dumb/desperate for relief.
Where’s the option for TheRiot?
I’m sending a message to “This Page”? Really? And why are there so many duplicates? FIX YO SITE
