It’s been a while since I tried my hand at live blogging, but I’m in the mood for it tonight. Since this is HJE I’m not going to live blog the Cubs-Reds game tonight. That would be far too easy. No, as the guys at TMS mentioned before they got into a tickle fight over Milton Bradley, this week is one of the 30 Shark Weeks that the Discovery Channel celebrates each year. In honor of this momentous semimonthly event, tonight I will live blog while flipping back and forth between the Cubs-Reds game and Shark Week on the Discovery Channel. Set your browsers to “Refresh” and your TV remotes to “Swap,” and join me.
I am hoping to be home in time for the first pitch and the first bite of a Shark Attack Survivor at 6:00 p.m. If I’m not timely, I will be there shortly. The live blog will be right in this space.
Do they have any Shark Week shows that aren’t about people getting bitten anymore?
@StPatrick – No. They frame all shows around biting. There was one on last night allegedly about the time of day when sharks feed. I thought it might be interesting, so I turned it on. It was, indeed, about the time of the day when sharks feed…ON HUMANS.
If I hear that “Lollipop” song one more time, I’m gonna go Charles Manson on somebody.
