As you can see, HJE has a nice, new, clean look, thanks to the tireless efforts of my good friend Alex. He did the whole revamp and put up with my dumb questions. He also designed the hilarious “Under Construction” page that you might have seen over the weekend. Record scratches are comedy gold. Everything you’ve come to know and love is still here, plus there is a nice, new “carousel” display for the most-recent (or most-important) posts. Oh, and since people have asked me in the past, if you would like an avatar in your comments that isn’t the lovely face of Skip, just sign up for a Gravatar with the e-mail address you use to post on HJE.
What do you guys think? Let me know in the comments. Also let me know if you find anything that doesn’t work so I can further bother Alex with it.

I fear change
Not a huge fan. Since the content is unchanged ill say “its just a layout.”
As long as CT is still here, we all lose.
Hate the carousel. Otherwise, nice job, not that it needed changing–the content is what matters.
Me likee the new design – it’s as old-school as my thrice-worn underwear but looks better.
It’s neat, but the carousel seems to go a little fast and the whole page is really wide. I can see it all if I maximize the browser, but I usually have it shrunk a bit to see other stuff.
