I find it a little bit satisfying knowing that when I see DeRosa’s name in the box score alongside 6 LOB, it’s for the Indians and not for the Cubs. DeRo was overrated, still is, and always will be.

Sorry to all the Cubs fans out there that loved him because he could play every defensive position (average at best) except Catcher.

I don’t care about DeRosa being gone. I’m just not happy that Aarron Miles/Milton Bradley took his place. Hendry doesn’t have a good back up ss, second & third baseman. DeRosa could play anywhere on the field. That what the Cubs miss. We will be lucky if one of these 3 pitchers does a damm thing.

2 of these 4 games were single-handedly won by my son.
and yet both Kermit and Andy insist that he is short, plays a bad SS, and can’t hit.
Leads Team in avg. and Tied for 3rd in HR’s on team.

Yeah he sucks.
Can we get Cedeno back?

And remember a good portion of DeRosa’s numbers came from that freak 22-run blowout against the Yankees. If you factor out that game, I wonder how good he looks.

Four wins in a row, still in second place in the division, and no one on the team is really overperforming aside from Theriot’s strange power stroke. I’m starting to think there’s really no reason to complain at all.

We might not be that much better with DeRosa and Wood right now, but we sure as hell couldn’t get much worse.

and I’m one of those who could really care less about DeRo. Woody will end up with good #’s, and the guy is a born leader. I’m sorry, but Eric Gagne’s mini-me clone does not inspire much confidence.
