It’s Neifiball time. Rudy from Razzball was kind enough to do the explaining for me in the below e-mail, and those guys are also going to give us space on their forums to trash talk, brag, discuss trades, and embarrass one another. As an added bonus, you guys also get to compete for a $50 Taco Bell prize! Thanks to Rudy and Razzball for the invitation.
As far as I can tell, I’m going to need to e-mail out invitations to the league. So, the first nine people who e-mail me will get into the first division, and we’ll add more divisions as needed so everyone can play. I believe Jackie Treehorn offered to set up the second division, so, Jackie, if you can set it up per Rudy’s settings below, please do so HERE, and I’ll send you e-mail addresses as soon as the first division fills up. If anyone else is willing to host a division, please post that in the comments section. Let me simplify this for everyone.
If you want to play, do the following:
- E-mail me from the e-mail address to which you want the invitation sent.
- In the header, write “NEIFIBALL.”
That’s it. Two rules. Even you simpletons should be able to follow those. Once I get ten total people in the first division, I’ll send out e-mail invites. Jackie will do the same for the second division once it gets to ten, and so on.

if only there was a way to award points for CS and Grounding into a DP. Also, if pitchers could get points for not stranding numbers.
It would also be great to give points for stealth stats:
rbi’s in blowouts
k’s for relievers after they let in all the inherited runners, but don’t let their own runners to score.

@JD – HJE is joining up with the Razzball guys, so we’re keeping the league uniform. ESPN’s fantasy leagues seem surprisingly not that bad.
Joining up in everything? Will they be sboxing, too? I don’t want to speak for everyone, so I’ll just speak for RV. RV would rather punch you in the face than share the sbox with people from Razzball. You’ve got 3 days.
I don’t want to play in the league, but I do want the Taco Bell prize. How do we make that happen?

HELP MATT HELP (PLEASE): I need some advice on what could be a life changing decision. I’ve suspected for some time now that my girlfriend has been having an affair. The usual signs. Phone rings, I answer, someone hangs up. She started going out ‘with the girls’ a lot recently, although when I ask which girls it is always “Just some friends from work, you don’t know them”. I always look out for her taxi coming home but she always walks down the drive although I can hear a car setting off. As if she has got out of the car round the corner. Why? Is it not a taxi? I once picked her mobile up just to see what time it was and she went beserk and screamed that I should never touch her phone again and why was I checking up on her. Anyway, I have never approached the subject with my g/f. I think deep downI just didn’t want to know the truth but last night she went out again and I decided to check on her. I decided I was going to hide behind my car which would give me a view of the whole street so I could see which car she gets out of. It was whilst crouched behind my car that I noticed rust around my rear wheel arch. So what should I do? Should I take it into a body repair shop or should I buy some stuff from Autozone and try to repair it myself?
