Fantastic job! This is my new favorite of the Hitler series. Unlike the others, this one has a strong ending.
But, where is Cliff Floyd on the list of RF flops? Other than that, I think you nailed this one.

Great Cub video…………….using a great movie “Downfall.” An excellent film (Nominated for Best Foreign Language Film 2004) about the last days of Hilter in his bunker as told by his personal secretary, Traudl Junge, who survived the Russian advance. She died shortly after being interviewed for this documentary.
One thing I would add to the Hitler video is him saying this about the Cubs….”Wait till the next millennium!”

At first I rolled my eyes when I saw who you were using and thought it in bad taste. But, I stuck with it and this is utterly brilliant because it expresses the feeling that those of us who have stuck around for 50 years have about the team- management and players alike. I tell people I’m going thru a trial separation- you win the first round of the playoffs next year and I’m back in. Otherwise, the entire squad can go into a bunker and stay there.

Awesome! Haven’t laughed like that since game 2 with the Dodgers @ Wrigley a couple mnths ago. Only then I was laughing in pure disgust & disbelief what was happening in the game…this time I’m laughing to relieve some stress.
Too bad Wood is with the Indians now. That’s the funniest thing in the video, it’s like a few guys already know it, that he’s actually gone now, but they’re nervous and don’t want to tell him…

Funny, but anachronistic. The real Hitler would’ve been ranting about Jimmie Wilson running this team into the ground. But Charlie Grimm’s back in charge – can he turn things around? Is that all it takes to bring back the glory days of the 30s? He complained then about how they couldn’t win the big one – not since his artist days – but at least they were always contending. Last year’s season was over as soon as it started. An opening day win, and then they drop 13 straight! They showed some promise by the end of the season, but do they have what it takes? Can Peanuts make up for the loss of Dim Dom, and what’s with all of these miniature leftfielders, anyways? Derringer’s washed up, so why are they talking about making him a regular starter again? Just what we need: more innings from a guy nearing 40. Etc.
The irony of it all is that it was next year, but poor Adolf would never find out that his boys were on their way to the pennant.
