I really appreciate your Chip “fisted” comments.
But, if you really want to see something silly, watch the McCarver “in-between-hop” calls.
Basically, he says it every time the ball hits the dirt. My personal fav is the throw to 1B from the left side of the infield. In-between-hop on a throw? What is the 1B supposed to do? come of the bag, then go back to get the runner?
Anyway, watch for it, I’m sure it happens often in many scenarios.
@John – I’ve definitely noticed that. Good Lord, the national broadcasters are horrid.
