This isn’t completely Chad Fox related but… I am fucking tired of St. Louis and the Cardinals. If Osama Bin Laden decides another terrrorist attack, I hope to God it’s when the Cardinals are playing someone like the Mets, or Brewers at Busch Stadium. I would be fucking happy. This country and it’s fucking love for Cardinal fans is just fucking sick. Sports Illustrated about made me cancel their subscription because it has a rating (I think done by fans, but that’s not the point) of all the ballparks and Cardinal fans were voted to have the highest baseball IQ. First off, how the fuck do you rate that? You can’t! Just because you have some fucking drunk retarded manager who likes to think he’s cute because he wears sunglasses in the dark, or because he bats the pitcher 8th, does that make the fans smart? No actually it makes them fucking retarded for believing it does something. They are stuck in this stigma because this country thinks they are so fucking great. I remember The Sporting News and ESPN (and probably others) naming it the best baseball city in America. Why? There is nothing that great about it. It’s the same shit as everywhere else. This team they have is outplaying their talent. They will taper off. They will fucking suck. Living in Springfield where Cubs-Cardinal fans are about split makes it real tough to keep my cool. My best friend is a Cardinal fan. It took a lot for me to not tell him to go fuck himself tonight. The fans act like they are all high and mighty so much. It is fucking annoying as all get out. And then tonight, “America’s Greatest Baseball Fans” booed their closer. I thought the best fans in baseball don’t do those things. I thought they were better than that. No, they’re not. Like I said, it’s just like any other baseball town in America. That being said, I think it needs to be wiped off the fucking map.
