Congratulations to the Chicago Cubs for becoming only the second team in Major League history to break the 5-digit mark for wins, as they collected their 10,000th win against the Colorado Rockies on Wednesday night. In my opinion, it was the most entertaining game of the year so far. After getting an early lead, the Cubs were forced to come back twice on the strength of an Aramis Ramirez home run and a Ryan Theriot RBI single before Carlos Marmol saved the game for Kerry Wood. I’ve said it multiple times, but I’ll say it again. Geovany Soto is a stud. Congratulations, Cubs.
